The NIMH´s Technology Transfer Office helps scientists, doctors and other active academic workers and experts in implementing high-quality and innovative results of their activities into practice.

The main goal is to accelerate the transfer of knowledge and results of science and research created at NIMH into the application sphere. This is implemented, for example, by ensuring appropriate protection of intellectual property or by choosing an appropriate business strategy – selling patent licenses or establishing a spin-off company. The NIMH technology transfer center provides researchers with expert legal and commercialization assistance in this area, for example, finding a suitable investor or business partner interested in a technology license, negotiating license terms, etc.
