Mental health services research

Head of the department

Mgr. Lucie Kondrátová

How many community mental health care centres and how many beds in psychiatric hospitals should be in the Czech Republic?
Should health insurance cover psychotherapy, antidepressants or both when it comes to people with moderate depression?

The work group aims to support evidence-based mental health care system development via high-quality mental health services research and economic evaluations. We strongly support use-led and user collaborative research, and we do provide policy recommendations to enable informed mental health care decision making. Currently, we are working mainly on mental health care reform in the Czech Republic.
