Marek Piorecký graduated from the engineering and doctoral study of biomedical engineering at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering under the Czech Technical University in Prague. Here he also provides part of the teaching of subjects related to biological signal processing. At the National Institute of Mental Health he works in the Research Center for Sleep and Chronobiology. As a researcher he focuses on the processing of brain signals from electroencephalography and functional magnetic resonance imaging. As part of his work he designs analyses and software processing of measured brain signals.
