The National Institute of Mental Health - a modern research and clinically oriented center for the field of mental health - is recruiting for the position of:
Researcher at the Sleep and Chronobiology Research Center in the Circadian physiology and chronotherapy research group.
We are looking for a colleague to strengthen our team in the Circadian physiology and chronotherapy research group.
Background information
Job status: part-time (4 hours per week)
Expected start date: immediately
Duration of employment: fixed-term - until 31.12.2024 with the possibility of extension
Workplace: National Institute of Mental Health, Klecany (near Prague, good public transport accessibility)
What will be your job description
- Working with laboratory rats
- Pharmacological analysis
- Data analysis
- Presentation of results in written and spoken form
What we expect from you / evaluation criteria
- Completed university degree in Animal Physiology
- Research focus in Neurobiology
- Very good knowledge of Czech language and English in oral and written form
- Good user knowledge of MS Office (main emphasis on Excel)
- Knowledge of statistics
- Advantage: knowledge of academic environment, experience in handling animal models, valid certificate for working with laboratory animals
