The project “Cybersecurity at the National Institute of Mental Health” (Reg. No. CZ.31.2.0/0.0/0.0/23_095/0008882), implemented by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), focuses on a comprehensive enhancement of cybersecurity in the institute’s information and communication systems.

The main objective of the project is to protect critical information systems and data concerning both patients and employees from cyber threats and to ensure the continuity of healthcare service delivery.

As part of the project, modern security measures and technologies will be implemented, including an information security management system, tools for the collection, detection, and evaluation of cybersecurity incidents, log management, penetration testing, network segmentation, modernization of network and wireless infrastructure, data backup and recovery, and the expansion of the identity management system.

The target group of the project consists of the employees and patients of the National Institute of Mental Health.

The project will make a significant contribution to the secure operation of the healthcare institution in the digital age and to the protection of critical information assets.
