Annotation

The aim is to support services to help transgender and intersex people by increasing the competence of psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists and other health, social and educational workers. Transgender people are more likely ot be exposed to discrimination, harassment, and violence, which increases their risk of mental disorders, addiction and suicide. As part of the project, a training system for experts is created based on knowledge from science and therapeutic practice. This training system will provide support for self-help groups for transgender people, information for the professional and lay public, and publishing activities.
