Mgr. Jakub Fořt is a researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health and an academic staff member at the Department of Psychology and Life Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Charles University. He is currently completing doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology and Health Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and in Zoology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University.

At the Center for Sexual Health and Interventions, his research focuses on the relationship between gender nonconformity and minority stress among individuals of diverse sexual orientations. His research interests also include maternal immune factors involved in the development of non-heterosexuality in humans.
