O přednášejícím:

Dr. Ethan Lester is a clinical psychologist at Mass General Hospital, Mass Eye and Ear, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. At MGH, Dr. Lester is a core research affiliate of the Center for Health Outcomes and Interdisciplinary Research (CHOIR) where he researches novel psychosocial treatment for a variety of health issues. He practices clinically within the Department of Ophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear, where he provides psychosocial assessment and counseling to patients with acute, chronic, and progressive ophthalmic conditions, assisting those adjusting to vision loss. At Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Dr Lester is a hospital psychologist for the stroke service on a 30-bed inpatient unit.

In addition to his research and clinical work, Dr. Lester holds administrative roles of leading support programming, workshops, and retreats for residents, faculty, and staff in both the Ophthalmology, ENT/head and neck cancers, and neurology departments. During his residence in Prague, he will share insights from his clinical work, research, and administrative roles, as well as present strategies for embedding behavioral health care to enhance resilience and well-being at the personal, interpersonal, and institutional levels.
